Emma is 3!!

Okay... she actually turned 3 a couple of weeks ago, but we had to hold off on a friend party until we got home from Utah. Melinda and I combined forces to have a double party for Benjamin and Emma who's b-day's are only a day apart. We had a great turnout and it was great to see my Emma-babe get a birthday party with her fun friends. Emma is just such a ball of energy and we LOVE having her in our family. She's so darn smart and loves to talk and play and be silly. Happy Birthday Emma Lou!

  2. Looks the party was a ton of fun!! Sorry we missed it! Not only was Heber home, but Taiya ended up having a fever, yucky cough and runny nose all day so I didn't think you would really want her around!! :) Thanks for the invite though!

  4. So many cute little kids. Are some of them primary children?
I assume Melinda is that cute young mom in the pink shirt and denim skirt, right?
Lucky you; not a drop of snow in sight. With small children it's so helpful to be able to get outdoors all year long.
After growing up in California, I found that raising kids with coats, gloves and mud was tough.

  7. So fun! Emma is adorable. We've missed her (and you) with all of the travels both our families have been doing. See you soon!

  8. Mmmm cake, so delicious and moist. The cake is truly not a lie. (forgive the inside joke, I couldn't resist)

Another note: please have the music turned off by default. I had to close many a tab before I found the source of the sound. For I thought it must have been some obnoxious advertisement that got by my nearly impenetrable hosts file.

(uh oh tangent! heads up!)... this takes me back to the 90's, when a website without an irritating midi/ridiculously painful-to-look-at wallpaper/bright yellow text was hardy a website at all.

(If you could also forgive this criticism, excessive use of parentheses, as well as my particularly geeky mood it would be dang spiffy)
