April Randoms

Random pics from April!  Here's Claire bear doing what she does best - playing house or family... whilst chatting to herself - she's so cute...

We got together with Emily and Carol and cousins one day for lunch - at MacAlpines in Phoenix...

 

 

Emma's not sad, just goofy...

 

We took our Beehives out for ice cream one day after school to celebrate some birthdays - I currently am serving as the 2nd counselor in Young Women's in my ward - I get to spend a lot of time each week with these amazing girls!  I'm so lucky - I've got the best young womens group!!  And they are also all amazing babysitters!

 

 

Becca lost another tooth... she has the smallest little teeth...

 

We planted cactus in our new blue planters we bought in Sedona a long while back - I love them out front of our house...

 

We had Adam and Caroline over to our house one weekend while Ben and Emily went out of town to celebrate their anniversary - I didn't take many pictures, but somehow I do have pics of Jake in a sword fight with Claire and Caroline - haha...

  That weekend we also had our ward variety show - The kids all got to be in a performance with all of the Primary kids - it was so cute...  

Spring Sports

Emma started Volleyball in the Spring- I honestly didn't think she'd really like it, but her friends were signed up, so Emma wanted to as well - she ended up loving it!  It was really fun to watch her in the games- it's exciting when the girls get the ball over the net!  :)

 

 

Emma's volleyball practices were held at a park... so often, the younger kids would play on the playground while Emma did volleyball drills.

 

 

Jake also started soccer in the Spring - soccer is much more his type of sport than t-ball - he enjoys the higher activity level and it feels more exciting!  Here's some random pics I took over the course of few weeks of games and practices...

 

 

Even though Jake enjoys soccer, his favorite part of the games is when he gets to take a break and hang out with mom!  :)

 

Family Activities

Ben loves to take the girls with him golfing... this particular time, they just went to the driving range, but the girls love it...

 

 

Jake LOVES Legos!  Aunt Stefani and Uncle Aaron gave him a really big Ninja Turtles set, so Ben and Jake did it together...

 

 

We love at home movie nights as a family - one evening, we watched an episode of Life - it's a lot like Planet Earth - we all love watching shows like this...

 

 

Afterwards we had ice cream sundaes - yummy!

 

 

Spring Tour Group!

In April, the Tour Group that Emma is a part of started performing their 50's themed song and dance act at various locations across the valley.  The Maricopa County Fair was their first place to show off their new show!  These girls are seriously adorable.  And Emma is super cute in a poodle skirt and cat eye glasses...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Easter 2014

I love Easter so much!  Recommitting to the Gospel and our Testimony in Jesus Christ- April is a wonderful month for that to be our focus with both General Conference and Easter just shortly after each other.  Life is beautiful!  I am blessed with my amazing family!
