My wonderful family watched our kids while we were in Florida for 5 days - best anniversary gift ever for Ben and I. We are lucky to have great families who love and care for our kids. I got to spend some time in Utah before and after Florida - and in between, my parents and siblings all chipped in time to help entertain my crazies. :)
Sunday walk....
My crazy Emma making me nervous climbing a huge tree...
Sunday best! And Jake doing his signature model pose...
Shamrock cookies on St. Patty's Day...
Emma putting the finishing touches on her leprechaun trap. Once again, no leprechaun's were caught, but they did leave some some St. Patty's day goodies!
Before I left, I took the kids to all get their hair cuts - this was Claire's FIRST real haircut! She loved it because she got to sit in a little airplane :)
Claire was a little sad when I first left, so mom suggested sending some selfies to cheer her up - it worked! My mom said she was fine after that :)
Busy planting flowers with Grandma...
Jake was Grandpa's special buddy while I was away - he ran errands with him and was his sidekick all week long...
Emma made german pancakes for breakfast...
Walking with Grandpa and Aunt Sarah...
Science time with Uncle Aaron!
Kites!
Aunt Stefani is so fun at the park...
After I got back, we had an early birthday party for Jake at Aunt Stef and Uncle Aaron's house in Provo. Jake turned 5 years old!
Jake was spoiled with awesome presents from Grandma and Grandpa and his Aunts and Uncle...
These are fun and choice moments. I learn so much from these young people.
ReplyDeleteOh, that made me miss all of you so much.
ReplyDeleteWe love our sweet Dangerfield family.
Just for the record; since you were here I have dumped so much junk and excess (including ancient furniture) that you wouldn't recognize our place at all. For an old house it's pretty sleek right now.
