We decorated for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving celebrations - we always put on Christmas music and/or a Christmas movie while decorating the trees and end the evening with hot chocolate. This was actually the first year we did a second tree - I've wanted to have a separate smaller tree for a long time that can be a special place for the kids handmade ornaments and other collected decorations that don't really match with our larger tree. We put the 'kid tree' in the loft upstairs...

We met up at a park to play with our friends who moved to Mesa. They live an hour away, but we try to still get together occasionally - we love our fun friends!

I had some long runs to prep for my half-marathon in November - I did all my training on a treadmill - this was a first! I had never ran 10 miles on a treadmill before! It took a lot of willpower - it ended up being a great way to train! I had my best time yet at my actual race...
The Phoenix Temple opened officially in mid-November - I was there on the very first day to do some family ordinance work! What a blessing to have it so close to our home!

Ben worked all day one Saturday getting our garage cleaned and organized - it was so needed! Our garage is small so we need to use the space as efficiently as possible...
Much to say, but really I have to compliment a beautiful garage. Now I want to get mine at least painted! haha.
