Well, our little Jacob is here! And he was full of surprises! He came even earlier than expected with me actually going into labor on my own. :) Then when he popped out we quickly saw he had all this black hair - what a cutie! Then they weighed him and, oh my, he was 8lbs 2oz. Emma and Becca were both a little over 6 lbs, so we got ourselves a little chunker. Can you believe this sweet thing was inside of me?! I'm so glad he's now out in the world and making me smile. :)
Oh my goodness...he was full of surprises for sure! First I can't believe you can give birth to a bigger baby than me...second that hair is freakin' awesome!!! Are you sure he came from you guys?! I can't wait to meet him!
Oh I love his hair, what an adorable little baby! Congratulations. I know what you mean by "chunker", Briggs was 8 lbs 9 oz. Geez, what big babies huh ;) Can't wait to see more pictures!
WOW Susan!!! He is BEAUTIFUL!!! That hair is awesome! And a big baby! The solid boy-ness officially enters your family of petite girlies (minus Ben, of course).
ADORABLE! I love the picture where he has his hands behind his head! He doesn't even have that scrunched up newborn look! He is just a cutie! Congrats! We're right behind you (I Hope!)
My oh My!! You two have one adorable little guy!!! And that hair. You won't stop hearing about it from everyone who sees him. I think chunky boys are the best. Mine slept and ate better and was all around a happier kid. I think due to his weight. And you look beautiful after giving birth!! Way to go Hottie!
By the time I saw your blog you already had 31 comments! New babies are just happy news. Sarah and I were grateful to spend the week with you and to get to hold Jacob. He's such a peaceful little fellow so far. When he makes any sound at all he makes a soft kitten mew. It's so cute. I agree with your friends; you look beautiful even after giving birth. I'm just thankful that everything went well and that you don't have to be pregnant anymore. He's pretty big.
Congrats! He's beautiful!
