It was a nice end to our day as I then threw them both in the tub and then into pajamas. Just as I was quite impressed with Emma and Becca's puddle jumping talents, I was also impressed today with Emma's puzzle-put-together skillz. I knew she was working on a puzzle while I was getting some dishes done downstairs... I came up to check on her progress and she was finishing up with the last few pieces. I couldn't believe she did the WHOLE thing by herself! She then pointed to the state of Maine and asked if that was the North Pole. :)
I love heavy rainstorms like that! wish we had them more often in salt lake. That was one of the best things about provo, their huge rain storms and puddle jumping on the way home from class. There were always huge rivers up to our apartment in heritage. oh the memories of freshman year. we did have a giant rainstorm here a month or two ago, it flooded people's houses and it came down so fast the with in three minutes the water in the streets was deep enough to cover the wheels of the cars. It was ever so impressive, I just wish it happened more often, the flooding wasn't good, but the rest was positively amazing!
ReplyDeleteI especially liked the very last picture with Emma and Becca walking in the gutter.
ReplyDeleteIt will be my 'refrigerator picture' of the week.
How fun to play in the rain. I miss AZ rain and the smell of it. Belive it or not when it rains in Pa it does not smells like AZ rain. I hope that made sense.
ReplyDeleteAlso so glad Emma started Head Start I really liked it when Hunter was in it. Hope all is going good.
The girls remind me of birds jumping around in water puddles, its fun to be so young.
ReplyDeleteWill you please call me CHICKEN.... or better yet a ROOOSTER! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove the rain pictures. Makes me really miss AZ! It's already getting cold here!
Wow that looked like SO much fun!!! I love playing in the rain! I wish I had been there. I would have jumped around with those kids. :)
