A toddler already?!

Well, it happened early just as I thought it would... Jake took his first steps today! I imagine he'll keep up mostly crawling for the next couple weeks till he better perfects his walking skills... and then I'll really have my hands full keeping up with this guy. Can you believe I have a 9 month old walker?!



In true Jake form, he does what he must to get some food... and then he takes off. ;)

    You walked at nine months too.
    You weren't falling down in between steps. You were so thin and agile that you walked up and down stairs without hanging on! The older I get the more I've come to realize that what you did was highly unusual.
    For all I know you were a Guiness records baby.

    Yes I know what that's like...Chase walked at nine months too. But I actually liked that he wasn't crawling around and getting so dirty anymore. And, let's face it...they can almost get into as much when they crawl as they can when they walk. What a cute little walker you have!

    Wow! What a quick little guy. My little Ethan is still not walking (well, taking a few steps here and there) and he's 17 months!!! Wait, did I just say this in a previous post? Anyway, too bad we don't live closer, maybe Jake could give him some lesson.

    Holy Cow! Walking at 9 months? I dont even think Miles was crawling at 9 months and he still isnt walking yet. WOW!
    You sure are going to have your hands full.
    Isn't being a mom the most AWESOME thing ever? Gosh I love this...

    Wow what a cutie, and I LOVE his pajamas. I walked at 9 months, so I always thought maybe my kids might...but no. Good luck, you will for sure have your hands full, but you're super mom and will be fine ha ha ha
