While Emma was at school, Becca and Jake got to enjoy the first egg hunt of the Easter season... and this was Jake's first egg hunt ever - last Easter he was only a week or so old. :) He was pretty happy wandering around with his one egg he gathered... until he realized that Becca had a whole basket-ful and wanted his share...
There was only one bit of April Fools trickery at our house this year. At dinner we asked the kids if they wanted some juice (they love juice) and they of course said yes... Ben pulled them out a couple cups from the fridge and the girls went to get a sip full from the straw... with no success... but they were happy to get to eat jello with their dinner instead!

ReplyDeleteThe kids seemed to be enjoying the Easter Egg hunt. When I was young our local park did that. If you found the golden egg (cardboard covered with gold wrapping paper) you were given an extra big bar of chocolate. I never was so lucky.
Our sun has returned today and the snow is melting. I can see Spring trying very hard to get here.
Sarah went to work in short sleeves. We get hardy here in the Rocky Mountains.
