Happy Easter!

Oh what a wonderful Easter weekend we've had! And it was all the more special having it be Conference weekend also. We've spent most of our time the past few days with Ben's family - on Friday we went to the Phoenix art museum. This was my first time going and I feel silly to have been missing out on such a great place! The kids loved it and their Grandma Dangerfield did an amazing job teaching them about so many different art pieces and involving them the entire time.

After our art museum outing, my lovely in-law's took my crazy kids to their house and I got to drive to my house without the chil'ens. :) The occasion was for Ben and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary, while they took our kids to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple and then kept them overnight till we met up with them later the next day. Oh what a wonderful night away we had! EIGHT years ago on March 30th, Ben and I got married in the Timpanogos Temple - it was the BEST day, and it was splendid to get to celebrate it with a romantic dinner out. Ben took me to Coup des Tartes, a French fusion bistro style restaurant with a really unique atmosphere - an old home that's been converted to make for an intimate and fun dining experience. I sound like a commercial, but it really was great! The food was divine - especially dessert! :) Thanks to my good-lookin', talented, amazing husband for a great anniversary date - it was fun to reminisce of many wonderful moments over the past 8 years.

The next morning, we drove to Ben's parents house to hug our kids and enjoy conference and Easter weekend all together. Over the next couple days we ate a lot of amazing food cooked by Ben's mom and dad, played outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather, watched conference and gathered goodies into the Easter baskets. Ben's mom also got the kids awesome Easter outfits which they proudly wore on Easter Sunday.

We played bocce ball on Saturday and Emma was a little neurotic about knowing exactly whose ball was closest... so she insisted on the use a tape measure

The kids look great in their Easter clothes. They are so well cared for.
My goodness, your weather looks pleasant. We are all so ready to see Spring make a full arrival up her in the mountains.
This weekend your brother came home. He went to a Saturday evening meeting with his dad. Then he slept overnight. Sarah made a wonderful Sunday dinner for us and we played a few games together.
