We made a visit to the pumpkin patch at the Desert Botanical Gardens - it was busy but fun! The weather felt lovely - just cool enough to get away with long sleeves, but definitely not a necessity - that's about all we can wish for in October in Arizona. :)
The kids had all their cute cousins to play with...
Carnival games... Jake says, "look what I won!"...
"Awesome bud! High five!" ... :)
Me and my childrens - Ben was with us in our hearts :) We missed him, but are so thankful for our hard working daddy...
Pete, Lacy, and Scout...
Claire attempting to cross through the tire in the hay maze...
Oh, I love when she gives that cheesy grin!
The kids each picked out their pumpkin - they are excited to carve them!
These poor patient chickens were getting picked up by all the kids...
Claire loves her Aunty Em :)
It's not October without a good pumpkin patch and a maze to run through.
ReplyDeleteYour Botanical Gardens did a good job.
While I was recovering from my Friday work (couple weeks ago), your dad, Sarah, Aaron and Stef went to Corn Bellies. I understand the corn maze was a dud this year. The corn was short and they could see over it. There must not have been enough water or something. It made me feel better about missing it this year, but still sorry for them.
Fun blog... Thanks.
Liked the activities, especially the tractor. It appears to be a John Deer 4320, good utility tractor, can be used with a bucket. Here is a utube link to one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0s7Q06y6xQ.
