Thursday nights are now soccer nights - Claire and I watched Jake run and play - the girls were in other parts of the field on different teams - but we had to keep close tabs on Jake to keep him on task...
I was so proud of myself entertaining my children this entire week without spending a dime. And then... I bought water park passes. Well, so much for saving money. Pretty sure, though, this was the best idea I've ever had - haha - hard to resist a huge and awesome water park that's less than 10 minutes from the house. We went twice this week!
Emma and ME...
This one is short... I didn't mean to stop recording so soon... but Emma was so proud of herself for being brave enough to ride this one with daddy. :)
So, the water park will be our new home away from home for the summer - looking forward to many more visits!
Definitely looks like you guys had an awesome spring break. We ate dinner at the Deer Valley Airport a few times, just for fun. The food wasn't great, but the kids loved the planes and when Brent's family came to town that's the type of food place they like. I don't recall ever seeing the water park, is it new? Where is it at?
ReplyDeletekim- it's at Pinnacle Peak Rd. and about 43rd ave. It's been there a long time, but it used to be called waterworld. It got bought out and remodeled about 3 years ago and is now wet n wild.
ReplyDeleteThere's so much I could comment on. I will just say that it was nice to see you playing too. You're still my little girl (no matter how old you get).
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun week, love the airport. My dad would take us to the Jamestown airport to see the small planes. He also liked to sit in the waiting area and watch the people come and go. And that photo of Jake with his fingers in his ears is priceless.
ReplyDeleteOh one more thought, how does the big tube that emma was riding get to that back ramp? Is it fast?
ReplyDeletethere's another steep ramp (that you can see the back of in the video) that you go down first... I didn't get to ride this one yet, but Ben LOVED it :)
