A Camping We Will Go

We went on a camping adventure this weekend with Ben's siblings and their families - the kids loved exploring the fun surroundings and spending time with each other. We ate delicious food, chatted till late, and laughed plenty. :)

We contained Scout and Claire as we set up tents. :)

You haven't been camping until your hands are caked in dirt

Emma and Jake showed me the 'hideout' they found - they had separate rooms named, one of which Emma said is the 'thinking room'...

  1. Camping is a great family activity. I have fond memories of our outings while growing up.
How far did you have to drive to escape cactus and find grass and trees?

    1. it was about an hour drive northeast of us, to horseshoe reservoir, along the verde river. It's always a treat to find a place with grass and water! :)

  2. A great campsite, it reminds me of some places here in Utah, including the back areas of Wheeler Farm. Those marshmallow shooters are so cool, the same for the weather as you all are in coats.
